WorkingSA Corporation is based in Pretoria, South Africa, and evolved from a mindset that South Africa's people have enormous potential and skills that are capable of adding significant value to local and international employers who, in turn, prosper through such employer/employee relationships. Our name eminated from the belief that we can be instrumental in supporting a “working South Africa”, both from a productivity viewpoint as well as the fact that we are able to supply skills to international markets.

We actively build relationships in the corporate environments and key international recruitment agencies in Africa and Australia specifically, mainly due to commonalities in the mining and IT sectors.

BACKGROUND

By 2007, Management had gained more than 15 years Corporate experience in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) evaluation and implementation, accompanied by relevant post-graduate qualifications. Subsequently, WorkingSA commenced with business.

At the time, the company initially provided IT Consulting, IT Project Management, IT Recruitment and Professional auditing of technology related projects.

Given our background in IT and Financial Auditing, we also provide services for the auditing of fixed line telecommunication accounts through our Advisory Services and offer corporations advice on fixed cost telephony at more competitive rates than they get currently – a cost benifit exercise is facilitated in this regard.

Over time Services have diversified leading to other access control solutions, focused on software and physical access controls which includes installation of cameras, construction of Mobile access control(turnstile) facilities, card readers and road “booms”, as well as the electrical infrastructure required to support it.

Also added to our portfolio services of late, is the implementation of solutions which include the use of GPRS technology with cellular networks for access control, monitoring of fire detection devices, as well as pure GSM communications for simple smaller scale access control solutions in the retail market.
As all these communications solutions (be it GPRS, IT (Ethernet wireless and fibre) analogue and digital Radio), require electrical backup, WorkingSA also provides turnkey solutions that include the electrical design and installation, including power backup, through UPS and generators. Optic fibre is also installed.

Our capacity allows us to deploy the required skills and you can be assured of senior management’s continuous and priority engagement. We have a solid team of specialists to ensure excellent, efficient and continuous service to you, which is obviously your primary concern.

We offer a merge of existing skills and infrastructure required with BEE diversification to deliver this service. We are a Level-3 BB-BEE Contributor.

The erection of 2-way radio networks with interface panels now allow for connection and communication between cell phone and landline (copper and IP) to two – way radios on the network, be it analogue or the latest digital solutions. Repeaters communicate via IP links and microwave dishes allowing for communications and data to be carried from point to point over the backhaul.
